The building’s artistic heritage is a testament to its unique character and historical significance. Notably, renowned theater director Robert Wilson also called this building home until 2007, when it was acquired by Aby Rosen of RFR Holdings.
In the 1970s, this Romanesque Revival-style building became a haven for artists, transforming warehouse and factory spaces into vibrant residences and studios. It played host to some of the greats of that period, including Andy Warhol, John Chamberlain, and Marisol Escobar.
