Crescent Nob Hill II – The Ansel Residence

Crescent Nob Hill – The Ansel Residence

SAN FRANCISCO

This two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom residence brings Paris and New York influences to the Bay Area. Located on the main floor of the newly-opened building, the Ansel Residence represents the best of city living. With 1,430 square feet of generous space and gallery-worthy finishes, the modern model home effortlessly combines European chic with a coastal influence—as seen through soft fabrics, muted colors, and textured wall coverings.

DISTINCT CALIBER

Prominently established atop San Francisco’s historic Nob Hill, Crescent is home to forty-four exquisite custom residences, representing the first significant new residential development in the neighborhood in decades and the only one of its distinct caliber and scale to be built for years to come.

A PRIVATE OASIS

Crescent’s amenities afford residents a further extension of their living spaces, including a stunning Drawing Room off the lobby and the Sky Line roof terrace. The Secret Garden is an urban rarity inspired by the whimsical gardens of Paris, brimming with plants, shrubs, perennials, and vines to form an architecturally layered oasis.

THE ANSEL RESIDENCE

Walking into the residence, guests are greeted by a classic San Francisco foyer, elongated and adorned with geometric mirrors and rare statement art; touches of playful, graphic colors in the entrance set the tone for the rest of the home. Anchored by a neutral curved sofa accented by hand-painted glass coffee tables, lavish armchairs and beautifully appointed textiles and rugs to help guide the flow of the space, the living room is warm and inviting yet elegant and elevated.

VINTAGE + CONTEMPORARY PIECES

Maximizing every corner of the home, the living room features an intimate bistro table ideal for morning coffee, and the dining room’s plush banquette serves dual functionality as a space for entertaining and a chic work-from-home nook. Vintage French and Italian pieces throughout the home, combined with the residence’s collection of contemporary art, create surprising moments of intrigue, delight, and reflection.

The kitchen is built with custom cabinetry designed by Champalimaud, and honed Mediterraneo marble countertops. Backsplashes frame the integrated suite of appliances from Sub-Zero and Wolf, and Dornbracht polished chrome faucets.

LAVISH TOUCHES

The primary bedroom presents a warm, neutral color palette, with a noteworthy bedframe by distinguished Spanish architect Patricia Urquiola for Cassina, a custom leather headboard, as well as a multi-use vanity and intimate seating vignette for lounging and reading complete with an iconic Capitol Complex armchair. Presenting an urban view, the second bedroom exudes a moody, masculine feel, with powerful accents of brown leather, deep greys, and greens, with lavish art pieces embellishing the walls.
